Q. I want to be a SNOMO agent. How do I get to be one?
A
.
Just go to the www.SnoMoOhio.com homepage, and click on AGENTS.
Create a profile, and follow the instructions and fill out/submit the online
    form.

Q. What do I have to submit to become a SNOMO agent?
A.
You will need to submit an application and a W-9. If you are under
18-years-old, then you also must submit a completed State of Ohio work
permit. You can e-mail a scanned copy of the fully completed permit to:
    agents@SnoMoOhio.com

Q. What is the minimum age to be a SNOMO agent?
A
.
SNOMO agents MUST at least 14 years old. If you are 14 to 17-years old,
your parent or guardian MUST to agree to allow you to become a SNOMO
     agent.

Q. Is there a maximum age to be a SNOMO agent?
A
. There is NO MAXIMUM AGE! You can become a SNOMO agent as long
as your physical health allows you to perform the duties. If you are unsure,
then you should consult your physician.

Q. Why must my parent or guardian sign off on my application
and receive the information on my work?
A
. As a minor, you cannot lawfully enter into a contract - your parent/guardian
must agree. Ultimately, you parents are responsible for your activities and
    whereabouts.

Q. When I become 18, must I quit being a SNOMO agent?
A.
Absolutely not! You can remain a SNOMO agent up to any age as long as
    you remain in good standing!

Q. Do I have to report my SNOMO income on my taxes?
A
. You will receive a 1099 to file with your taxes by the end of January every
year for the previous year’s income. You (and your guardian, if applicable),
will be responsible for any tax liability due to income from SNOMO.
SNOMO will not hold any of your earnings back on your behalf for taxes.

Q. If I get a bonus or gift, do I have to pay taxes on it?
A.
Yes. The value will be included on the 1099.

Q. As an AGENT, am I an employee of SNOMO?
A
. No, as an agent, you are a contractor, not an employee.

Q. How do I get paid as an agent?
A.
As of right now, all agents are paid via PayPal. You must have a PayPal
account to receive payment. If you are under 18-years-old, your parents
must have a PayPal account to accept payment.

Q. If I do work at a property as a SNOMO agent, can the property owner
also pay me for other work, too?
A
. You may perform other work in an arrangement with the property
owner outside of your SNOMO work as long as it is unrelated to work
     which SNOMO offers.

Q. I was talking to some other SNOMO agents and I think they
make more money per job than I do. Why?
A
. SNOMO agents may earn different for various reasons. One reason may be
that the agent was the first agent in the subdivision. Agents can also earn
more based on longevity. All agents earn more on properties which require
more work (size), last minute requests; or status of the property (higher
grass or more snow mean greater cost). There are many reasons why one
agents can earn more than another on a particular job.

Q. What can I do to earn more money as an agent?
A
. All agents earn more on properties which require more work (size),
last minute requests; status of the property (higher grass or more snow
mean greater cost); or other reasons. Incentives will be available from time
    to time that will give bonuses to agents based on servicing certain areas;
servicing a certain number of clients; or receiving a certain number of high
    scores from clients.

Q. How much money do I earn as an agent?
A. Agents will earn no less than the State of Ohio minimum hourly wage.
However, many jobs will take just over an hour to two hours to perform, and
the pay will be much greater than the minimum wage. As an agent, you will
receive a notification of the offer of a job, along with the pay that you would
receive. You can choose to accept or reject the work at that time.

Q. I didn’t get a notification about a job that was just a few houses away
    from me. Why?
A.
Clients can request certain agents if they find their work to be
superior. Clients can also ask their certain agents not service their property
if they feel that their work was not up to standard. Availability or
interest/ability to perform certain work may also be a reason.

Q. I would like to purchase SNOMO gear. How do I get it?
A
. Send an e-mail to: agents@SnoMoOhio.com with your request. We may
have something you will love to wear already on order!

Q. I received notification that I was no longer a SNOMO agent. Why?
A
. You may have broken some rules; cancelled too many jobs; had too many
complaints lodged against your work; or something similar.

Q. Why should I be a SNOMO agent? Can’t I just cut out the middle man
and find the work to do the work myself?
A.
You could just find jobs yourself. BUT, how would you be sure to get as
many people you could service all in your area? Plus, you can earn
bonuses, gifts, free gear, and more! And, you don’t have to worry about
collecting money from the property owner - payment for services will be
     deposited into your PayPal account.

Q. I will be on vacation or away for a long period of time. Can I
    freeze my agent status?
A
. Absolutely! Just e-mail: agents@SnoMoOhio.com and ask them to
    freeze your agent status.

Q. Can I lose my agent status if I decline work?
A
. Yes, if you are not in a freeze status and decline many jobs in a period
of time, you may end up being deactivated.

Q. Can I lose my agent status if I cancel jobs I have accepted?
A
. Yes, if you accept a great number of jobs, but then cancel. A
cancellation here or there is ok.

Q. My parents won’t let me use their lawnmower. Can I still be a SNOMO
    agent?
A
. Yes, but you will be limited to being offered jobs where the client has
a mower available to you for your use. Most clients prefer that agents bring
    their own equipment.

Q. I don’t have my own snow shovel. Can I still be a SNOMO agent?
A
. Yes, but you will have to borrow the Client’s (if they have one available).
Ask a friend or neighbor - I bet they have one you can borrow! Most clients
prefer that agents bring their own equipment.

Q. I am not allowed to leave my subdivision to do jobs. Can I still be
    a SNOMO agent?
A.
Yes. You will be eligible for jobs that become available within
your subdivision. Indicate your distance restrictions on your agent
     application.

Q. I don’t like working at certain properties. What should I do?
A
. Submit your preferences to: agents@SnoMoOhio.com

Q. A client offered me a tip. Should I accept it?
A
. You may accept tips from clients if you feel comfortable. If you are under
18-years-old, ask your parent if it is ok.

Q. A client offered me water/cookies/hot chocolate, etc. Should I accept
    it?
A
. If you feel comfortable, you may accept it. However, SNOMO is
not responsible if you get sick from anything you ingest. If you are under
18-years-old, ask your parent if it is ok.

Q. How quickly will I get paid for my work?
A.  SNOMO attempts to pay agents with 48 hours of work completion and
verification. At this time, SNOMO agents can only be paid via PayPal. If \
you are under 18-years-old, you cannot have your own PayPal account,
so your parent/guardian must accept your payment to their account.

Q. Can I choose which agent will service my property?
A
. You have the ability to request certain agents, but they may not
     be available.

Q. How long will it take after I order service for an agent to come to my
    property?
A.
In most cases, your property should be serviced within 48 hours. However,
extreme events can cause delays. You will be notified of such when you
order services if that is the case.

Q. I don’t want the agent to use my equipment. Can they bring
    their own?
A
. The default service type is for the agent to bring their own equipment.

Q. I am not sure if my lawn equipment works. What should I do?
A
. If you want the agent to use your equipment, then you must ensure that
it is in good working order. We suggest that you seek out a good
repair person to have your equipment repaired or serviced as necessary
     before every season of use.

Q. I am very particular about my yard. Can I go out there and tell the
    agent what to do?
A
. If you are picky about your yard, you may want to hire a
professional landscaping company. SNOMO provides (mostly) young
people who may not have the same level of detail as a professional
landscaper. Basic snow shoveling and grass cutting is our game.

Q. I want the agent to make designs or mow in a specific pattern. Is
    that possible?
A
. SNOMO agents will only perform basic grass cutting. If you would
like designs, you should consider hiring a landscaper.

Q. Can I ask the agent to perform other work at my property?
A
. Not while they are on business for SNOMO.

Q. Can I ask the agent to do other snow removal or grass cutting outside
of the contracted work through SNOMO?
A.
No, and if they do, they may lose their status as a SNOMO agent and you
may lose your status as a client of SNOMO.

Q. I received a communication stating that SNOMO would no longer
    be servicing my property. Why?
A.
You may have broken a rule such as: having an agent perform
     SNOMO services while not working for SNOMO at your property;
requesting services for a property which you have no legal authority to
request services to; requesting services for a property and cancelling
multiple times; making numerous unfounded accusations against agents
or their work; not having the property clear of animal feces or debris prior
to the agent’s arrival; public records or complaints on illegal or unsafe
activities associated with the premises; or requesting services for a
property and the condition is beyond/different than what was described.
That’s just to name a few.

Q. An item on my property was damaged or the agent used my
equipment, and now it is damaged. What do I do?
A
. E-mail a picture and detailed description to:
     customerservice@SnoMoOhio.com

Q. I am completely unhappy with the work the agent performed.
    What should I do?
A
. E-mail a picture and detailed description to:
     customerservice@SnoMoOhio.com

Q. Do I get a discount for paying for grass cutting services in advance?
A
. You might. At specific times during the year, current clients will
receive communications on deals which can save them money on
services purchased in advance. These are limited time-only offers. Make
sure that your e-mail address is up to date, and that our e-mails are not in
     your spam folder!

Q. I pay more than my neighbor for the same SNOMO service. Why?
A.
Price differences on properties can occur for many reasons, included,
but not limited to: property size, work being performed, if the agent
brings equipment vs. uses yours; deals for pre-payment in advance; last-
    minute requests; etc.

Q. I want to just pay the agent when they come to do the work. Can I?
A
. No. The agents are paid online, through a system so that they don’t
have to worry about carrying cash or providing change. It is safer and easier
    for all parties involved.

Q. Why can’t the agent clean up the property prior to mowing?
A
. If your property has animal waste, tree branches, toys, etc., it is
the property owner’s responsibility to remove such items before agents
come to service the property. The agent can decide not to perform the
service if the conditions are in excess of what may be reasonable.

Q. The agent came to my property, inspected it, but didn’t do the
    work. Why?
A.
If your property has animal waste, tree branches, toys, etc., it is
the property owner’s responsibility to remove such items before agents
come to service the property. The agent can decide not to perform the
service if the conditions are in excess of what may be reasonable.

Q. The city plowed in the end of my street after the agent left. Can
they come back and take care of it for free?
A
. While it can be frustrating, no. You will need to request another
    SNOMO service of your property.

Q. Will the agent throw down salt on my driveway/walkway after they
    shovel?
A.
Agents will not have snow melt or traction materials.
